Lee Royle, Treasurer and Director of Human Resources, announced that SP Industries has won the 2007 Risk Control Award of Excellence from Columbus Insurance Ltd. The singular focus of Columbus and its members is risk control and the member companies are dedicated to operating safe work places. This award acknowledges what we know statistically, which is that work related injuries and workers compensation claims have been reduced significantly over the past several years at SP Industries.

SP Industries is proud of this achievement, as it takes everyone working together and following the safety rules and practices to create the safe environment that we work within. SP Industries will be displaying the award throughout the year at its facilities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York.
