Engineering Services Technician - SP Scientific: PennTech

Location: Warminster, PA
FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

SP Industries is seeking an Engineering Services Technician to compile and maintain control records and related files, and to release blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents to manufacturing and other operating departments.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess the minimum qualifications cited.

Education, Experience, and Work Skills
  • High school graduate level is required at a minimum.
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college and/or technical school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience with engineering operations is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
  • Experience with Solid Works or AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrix organizational structure on multiple, simultaneous schedules with numerous stakeholders and business functions is strongly preferred.
Language Skills
  • Must speak, read, and write english well.
Mathematical Skills
  • Good math and reading skills are required to interpret drawings and specifications.
General Requirements
  • Must be highly communicative and a people person, providing and communicating visibility regarding progress or slippage to key stakeholders.
  • Must be able to multi-task to support and coordinate activities and responsibilities for multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, flexible to change, highly interactive and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work as a team player with collaborative initiatives.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, utilize conflict resolution techniques, and assert influence in continual process improvement.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely
